1. Introduction

Welcome to Format! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Format SaaS product ("Product"), provided by Format, a company registered in the UK.

By accessing or using the Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Product.

2. Use of Product

The Product is designed to summarise primary research interviews. Users may upload data as audio files or text files for the purpose of generating a summary.

By using the Product, you agree to grant Format a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, copy, modify, and create derivative works based on the data uploaded using the Product for the purpose of providing and improving the Product.

3. Data Ownership

All data uploaded to the Product by users, including the original files, are and will remain the property of the user who uploaded them. However, any summaries generated by the Product, including any data modifications made by the Product, are and will remain the property of Format.

4. User Obligations

You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload and use the data you provide to the Product and that such use does not violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party, including any NDAs you may be subject to.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to use and share the data you provide to the Product.

5. Privacy Policy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and disclose information in connection with the Product.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Format will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Product, including any data generated by the Product.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and your use of the Product shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
